For better or worse I have embarked on a smaller book-writing project (last year’s was too big given my care partnering responsibilities, so I’ve gone back to the drawing board)!
Are you a patient and/or care partner interested in sharing your stories and experiences of navigating healthcare systems in Canada? If so, I’d love to hear from you for a book-writing/ story-sharing project. There are 2 ways to get involved:
- Contribute your experiences in writing and/or in a video interview. Check out and even answer some of the interview questions on this Google Form. You will receive a copy of your responses by email and have the opportunity to make edits to them. The form gives you the options for how you would like to be credited in the book (i.e. anonymous, initials, name and a link to your website if you have one). You can opt in to an in-person video interview on this form as well, or by firing off an email: Beth@NavigatingHealthcare.ca.
- Become an advisory group member. If you’d like to who are willing to read through some or all of the writing of the first draft as it is being written, and provide input, then please sign up to the advisory group here. It’s free. Just hit, ‘Start Learning’ at the top right of this page!
When the book is completed, advisory group members will receive a digital copy of the book.
You will have an opportunity to approve your own content before I put it up here.
