You are a Freshman Care Partner if…
You are starting out as a care partner. The person you’re helping has had a recent diagnosis and/or is experiencing an increasing number of medical specialists and appointments. It’s time to start getting organized learning how to navigate our healthcare systems.
In this stage, your task is to experiment with resources and procedures to find what works for your situation. You may want to think about the possibilities open to you and consider how your health and care partnering situation will impact all areas of your life.
To help you ‘learn the ropes’ of your new situation I have a free course you can take that gets you started in the areas of communicating with healthcare professionals, developing your support networks, self-care and legal/financial basics. Please know that you can book a free 30 minute consultation to speak with me about your specific needs.
